We have been serving the community for generations. It all began when Dr. J.S. Hess, Sr. had the vision to help a community grow by meeting the healthcare needs of its residents. His dream developed into what is now known as Mile Bluff Medical Center, an organization caring for an eight-county region of people.
The Mile Bluff of today is an independent, not-for-profit organization that owns and operates a 40-bed acute care hospital, five clinics, two nursing and rehabilitation centers, a 12-bed assisted living facility, a sleep center, a 32-apartment retirement community, a surgery center, a retail pharmacy, an outpatient physical/occupational rehabilitation center, and two dialysis centers. We also offer a wide variety of outpatient, inpatient and specialty care services.
While we have evolved over the years, one thing hasn’t changed – our commitment to meeting the needs of area residents through excellent team members and excellence in healthcare.
